Email notifications to investors contain information about the offering document along with an Internet link within the email message.
Following is a sample email message:
The Internet link, or URL, is encrypted and unique for each recipient. By
clicking on the Internet link, the recipient opens an Internet page where
the document for that particular offering can be downloaded. The
characters that appear after "id" in the Internet link identify
both the recipient and the offering document.
By using this proprietary system, i-Deal Prospectus offers several benefits and options:
- A permanent record of who downloads each offering document.
- Ability to display other relevant documents - eg, Notice of Sale and Bid Form.
- Access to additional links - eg, virtual roadshow.
- Prompt for the user to provide electronic consent or display a disclaimer page.
- Allow the recipient to request a paper copy online.
- Update or disable the download page at any time.
- Prompt for a password prior to downloading an offering document.
- Avoids problems associated with file attachments in email.
Following are examples of download pages that illustrate the options and
flexibility of i-Deal Prospectus:
